„Alles, was ein Mensch sich heute vorstellen kann, werden andere Menschen einst verwirklichen.“ (Jules Verne)
“Imagination is everywhere.” (Albert Einstein)
In the spirit of our namesake Jules Verne, and as a take on Einstein’s wise words, we decided on Imagination flows everywhere as the title of our 2022/2023 Campus-wide annual theme at Jules Verne Campus.
Why? In keeping with the unique educational philosophy in the SBW Haus des Lernens Dare to do what you dream and our in...

We have great news at the beginning of the new 2022/2023 school year! As you may know, our long-term goal is to achieve climate neutrality for our learning house. In this context, we would like to make our entire school family aware of this crucial topic and in May 2022, we applied to become a so-called Bavarian Climate School for both our Elementary and Grammar Schools. A cross-Campus team consisting of learning guides, pedagogical staff, administration, and management was able to successfully ...

We are extremely proud of our small group of tenth grade Earth learning partners who opted to take the exams for the Mittlere Reife. All participating learning partners passed the exams and will now be receiving the academic qualification “Mittlere Reife”. We’d like to thank all of the learning guides, as well as Herr Tonke, for their targeted support of the learning partners, and of course the parents and teens for trusting in success.
To celebrate this achievement, we had a small gra...

The long-awaited pedestrian crossing right in front of Jules Verne Campus was completed in early December 2021. We'd like to thank all the JVC parents who helped us to push for this essential safety measure on Bayerwaldstr. With the pedestrian crossing complete with clear, well-lit signs, traffic in front of Campus is slowed down while children can safely cross the street towards the main gate. With our regular crossing guard and considerate parking in the area, this is a big step forward, keepi...

Respectful interaction entails respect for oneself, for other people and the environment, for other cultures and generations, and for so-called social and cultural values. An example of living the fractal element RESPECT at Jules Verne Campus is our very own Learning Partner Portrait, a compilation of values we foster to achieve respectful interaction. Different values are addressed each week in our Elementary School. In the 2021/2022 school year, the learning guides and partners designed the ba...

Our learning partners in grades 1 and 2 have been exploring the meadow recently like busy ants! One of the stories we heard this term was “Caterpillar Shoes,” which tells of a caterpillar who actually wears lots of different kinds of shoes. When he has eaten his fill and is ready to make his cocoon, he realises his shoes don’t fit him anymore. Plus, he won’t even need the shoes if he is going to fly around as a butterfly. And so, he sets off through the meadow in search of other insects ...

Präsentationen haben unsere Lernpartner seit der 1. Jahrgangsstufe schon oft gehalten.
