Jules Verne Campus Begins the Next Leg of Its Journey with Dukes Education and the Accreditation of the Grammar School
This school year marks the beginning of an exciting new leg of the Jules Verne Campus journey. After more than 13 years of growth, innovation, and community building, JVC has officially joined the Dukes Education family for the 2026/2027 school year, an international network of outstanding schools and educators. At Jules Verne Campus, our top-notch team, leadership, children, learning partners, and educational concepts, offers, and services will stay the same. But we are thrilled about the opportunities this partnership will create: a broad, international network, opportunities for staff, and a strong partner for development and continuing our journey into the future.
We celebrated this important milestone together during our annual Journey Day, a special occasion dedicated to reflecting on how far we have come and looking ahead to the next stage of our shared balloon journey. At the event, we thanked the visionaries, partners, and investors who helped build JVC over the past 13 years from Campus Pro and SBW Haus des Lernens. It was an emotional moment to say good-bye to our previous CEO, Dr. Christian Ebner and Campus Pro partners Dr. Moritz Bürck, Daniel Schleif, and Pilar Ebner and SBW partners Reto Ammann, Jan Schneider and Christoph “Bo” Bornhauser. All of these partners provided vision, trust and confidence during our founding years and as we grew and become more established, we will always be extremely thankful for our partnership. At the same time, we warmly welcomed our new partners from Dukes Education, David Fitzgerald, CEO of Europe and Philippe Grosskost, General Manager of Central Europe at Dukes Education.
We are especially looking forward to an event for the entire JVC community in October. Together with other members of the Dukes Education Europe leadership team, Dukes Founder and Chairman, Aatif Hassan, will personally welcome our Jules Verne Campus into the Dukes family and present his vision for our shared future. How did we combine our annual theme “Seid’s freidlich, Be Kind!” with this exciting news? With giant customized Lebkuchenherzen! Both leaving and new partners received one, and the gingerbread heart was also the superstar of our collaborative mural on our annual theme on Campus this year, also created on Journey Day.
And as if that were not enough good news to begin the school year, we are also delighted to announce that our application for accreditation of our Grammar School has been successfully approved. The Heads of Grammar School, Christine Riedl and Andrew Hill, announced this important achievement for staff at Journey Day and outlined what accreditation will mean for our Grammar School for our parents learning partners a letter for our entire JVC community. From the JVC Management, we would like to extend our warmest congratulations to the entire Grammar School team and leadership. This achievement reflects years of dedication, professionalism, and commitment, and stands as a testament to the exceptional quality of education being provided at Jules Verne Campus.
We are immensely proud of everything our community has accomplished over the past 13 years and grateful to everyone who helped make that success possible. We look forward to learning, growing, and daring to dream with the wider Dukes family and with the promise of the long strived-for accreditation of our Grammar School on our side.
